The unstable weather system that caused instability today along the Adriatic coast regions and the southern part of the peninsula is rapidly moving eastward. At the same time, tomorrow, the strengthening of a subtropical ridge over the central-western Mediterranean will favor stable and predominantly sunny conditions across our Peninsula. In this context, a general increase in temperatures is expected, with maximum values exceeding +30°C in Sardinia.
Friday, May 30, 2025:
Throughout the day, clear or mostly clear skies are expected across the entire region.
Temperatures: Minimums will remain steady, ranging between +12°C and +16°C in inland areas and between +15°C and +19°C along the coastal strip and main plains. Maximums will also remain steady, generally ranging between +23°C and +27°C.
Wind: For most of the day, predominantly moderate from the North/Northeast; however, in the afternoon, the wind will shift to the Northwest along the Caserta and Naples coastal areas. In this context, gusts up to 85-95 km/h are expected near significant mountain slopes and coastal sectors, especially between morning and afternoon.
Sea: Slightly rough near the coast and rough offshore throughout the day.
Forecast for the city of Naples:
For the entire day, the sky over the regional capital will be clear or, at most, partly cloudy.
Temperatures: Minimum and maximum values will remain steady, ranging between +16°C and +18°C and between +24°C and +26°C, respectively.
Wind: Moderate from the North/Northeast overnight and in the morning, and from the Northwest during central hours. In the evening, winds will be light, at times absent, and variable.
Sea: Slightly rough near the coast and rough offshore throughout the day.
