Overnight and early morning, the sky will be partly irregularly cloudy across most of the region, except for the Irpinia and Sannio areas, where clearer conditions will prevail. In this context, a brief drizzle may develop, especially along the leading mountain chains of the Campanian Apennines. For the remainder of the day, cloud cover will decrease throughout the region, with broad clearings alternating with passing high clouds. Only along the prominent regional mountain ridges will denser cloud buildups be found, possibly leading to isolated showers.
